Scott McNair has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of 8th Avenue Food & Provisions since May 2020.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
Before joining 8th Avenue, Scott led numerous private equity-backed organizations to profitable outcomes, including many operational and financial turnarounds. He also has more than three decades of extensive U.S. and global food experience with Nestle, ConAgra, Tyson and Schwan’s.
Throughout his career, Scott has successfully implemented a strategic approach to reinvigorating brands, improving costs, and sharpening operational execution to drive strong business results.
He began his career at Nestle as an Area Sales Representative within Stouffer Foods, later serving in a broad range of management roles across the United States with some of the top CPG companies. Scott has used his general management, marketing and operational skills to improve business performance across an assorted array of food categories and channels of trade, with a concentration on leadership and disciplined execution. He is a hands-on leader who is known for enabling teams to hit extraordinary results.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Messiah College along with his MBA from Fontbonne University. He has also taught at the University of Missouri’s MBA program as an adjunct professor.
